Bow and Arrow
Bow and Arrow is a BEGINNER part day hike and rappel canyon trip with little scrambling and no water, takes about (2-3 hours). This is a great option for families. On this trip you will see dinosaur tracks, and Native American petroglyphs.
Entrajo Canyon
ENTRAJO! This is our local BEGINNER canyon that has hiking, scrambling, rappelling, and water! This is a great part day trip (2-3hours) for new adventures looking for an intro canyon that has great views, fun challenges, as well as being accessible by all ages and sizes. This is a good family canyon.
Morning Glory
This is another great BEGINNER family canyon with two awesome rappels, one of which is off a 100’ arch deep in the canyons of Moab. This is a half day canyon and requires a shuttle. The canyon descends quickly requiring ropes and ends with a beautiful hike through red walled canyons next to a fresh water creek that endlessly flows from a spring deep in the rock. This is one of our all around favorite trips and a must do when coming to Moab, Utah.
Rock of ages Canyon
Rock of ages is a half day INTERMEDIATE adventure circuit that covers close to 5 miles of hiking traveling directly through this arch above. It also has multiple rappels, scrambling, water, seeming, and is a great overall adventure for intermediate cannoneers. This trip can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but we do run it year round!
GRANARY Canyon
Granary Canyon is closed April-Aug (Big Horn Sheep Lambing) and has multiple rappels, is 4-5 hours long, and requires some awesome scrambling. Once you have repelled into the Canyon there are many obstacles to conquer. The last rappel is about 200 feet. There is also the chance to visit a 1200 year old granary on the way back to the car.
ZIG ZAG CANYON
ZIG ZAG canyon is an INTERMEDIATE 3-4 hour adventure that takes rope work and rappelling. It is an amazing super local canyon that takes some beginner climbing and scrambling to finish. There is a roped climbing section, scrambling, pot holes, and a 200’ rappel into a canyon with a massive forming arch at the end.
FINS N’ Things CAnyon
The Fins and Things hike is a BEGINNER hike and canyon that ends at a waterfall play area. This hike is a 3-4 hour tour and depends a bit on how long you hang out at the waterfall of “Left Hand.” There are arches, petroglyphs, and a lot to see in this canyon. It is also one of the nicest to do in the summer.
CLIMBING AnCient Art
Ancient Art is one of the Moab Classic Climbs- it’s a BEGINNER CLIMB. A must do for any climbing enthusiast and no previous training is required! This climb follows a route known as “The Stolen Chimney” and is done in 4 pitches over a total of 300 feet! This climb gets a grading of 5.8 and is approachable for most climbers with a little bit of experience. Stand tall over the Moab Desert, book your climbing trip today!
